Have you been in to the shop over the last week or so?

If so then you will have seen the results of our recent improvement works. Thank you to all the volunteers who have helped support us with decorating and moving fixtures and stock over the last few weeks. We are really pleased with the results and we hope you will be too, the feedback so far has been very positive. Not only does the shop appear brighter and more open but by reorganising displays we have been able to increase ranges, especially frozen foods, and our energy consumption will be much improved by installing more efficient chilled displays.

We are already taking orders for all your Christmas Fayre, including Fresh Turkeys (or any other fresh meats) from Wally Duttons of Kelsall, and all your fresh fruit and vegetables. Ask in store for an order form and take all the stress out of your Christmas shopping which will be available for you to collect on Monday the 23rd or Tuesday 24th of December.

If you have not considered volunteering at the shop before then why not give it a try? We have several vacancies for volunteers at the moment.
We have been lucky enough to benefit from an increase in demand for newspapers due to the retirement of the business that used to deliver to the Mouldsworth and Manley areas. However this has also increased the workload on a Thursday, Saturday and Sunday morning which are the busiest newspaper days, and we are looking for extra volunteers to support our regular volunteers in preparing the newspapers for delivery on these days.

If you can't cover a regular shift but may be able to help on an occasional basis then you may be able to join our list of volunteers who help us cover holidays or sickness.
Remember that as a community shop we could not function without our volunteer support.
If you are able to help, please contact the store on on 01829 759023 or email amcshop@btconnect.com
